Please make sure you have updated your operating system and your installation of MS Office by visiting the Windows Update site. Note: If you're on a Partners computer, your access to Windows Update is likely disabled. In this case, updates are set to run automatically and are likely not the problem.
Also make sure your installation of Java is current by visiting java.com and clicking on "Do I have java?" then "Verify Java version." Note: an update of your Java will request the installation of a third-party toolbar for Ask.com. You'll need to uncheck the box to decline the installation of this toolbar.
You may need to close and re-open Word and/or restart your computer in order for these changes to take effect.
Some Partners users with Word 2007 have had difficulty installing the most recent version of Write-N-Cite 4. If this is the case, we recommend installing this older version of Write-N-Cite 4 [launches installation file].
